I was in a panic as my unemployment was about to run out. I had been going to the Anoka Co. workforce center for several months, taking classes and working on my resume. Within a day of posting my resume on the internet, via the workforce, Katie from Insight Global contacted me in regards to my work skills, and informed me she had “the perfect match” for me! Katie set up an interview with me for the very next day and immediately following the interview, Katie set up an interview for the “perfect match” position for the very next day. Within an hour of the interview, Katie called me and told me I got the job! From the minute she contacted me, she was always there to answer any questions I had, clearly and in a very timely manner. Katie was bound and determined to find me a job, not only in the field I was looking to work in, but one that would also be beneficial to in my future. Katie has been a blessing to me. You can also find various outdoor activities such as hiking the Grand Canyon, kayaking, Sedona, Las Vegas, San Diego, LA, OC are all available within a 4 hour drive.

Insight Global Raleigh Gives Back to Homeless

Insight Global Raleigh has been completely swept up in the holiday spirit this year! After donating a large box full of new, unwrapped gifts for Toys for Tots a few weeks ago, they also decided to help the homeless community as well.
The team rallied around the cause and donated new scarves, hats and gloves for the homeless last week. On Saturday, they also gave their time at a local homeless shelter and were able to feed over 300 homeless people and pass out 2 Christmas gifts to each person.
Tara Esler, Account Manager, commented, “It means so much to me that my office supported and helped me out with this ,and that we were able to provide for those in need. Because of them, people received some of the only gifts that they will get this year. Thanks for spreading the holiday cheer and making people’s lives brighter!”

Insight Global Giving Back

Insight Global has wrapped up its second annual nationwide drive benefiting the US Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” program. Each of the 26 Insight Global offices nationwide gathered donations of toys for children ages 2-12 before the holidays. The company was able to donate well over 2000 toys this year, doubling the results from the first year.
Annie Roberts, Insight Global Public Relations Manager and coordinator of the efforts, commented, “Our second annual Toys for Tots Nationwide Drive was a huge success! I was extremely pleased to see our entire company continue to rally behind the mission of this worthy cause and give back in such a tangible way.”
“Toys for Tots” is a nationwide charitable drive to collect new, unwrapped toys which will be distributed as gifts to children across America. Insight Global offices set up trees and boxes to encourage both internal and external employees, families and friends to donate toys to the program. Each office collected between 50 and 250 toys for local children in need. The toys gathered ranged from dolls and coloring books to iPods and bicycles.

Philadelphia Office Supports Philabundance

ATLANTA, GA – November 30, 2011— Insight Global, Inc., A Staffing Services Company, is continuing their philanthropic efforts nationwide. This year, the company has donated time and resources to various not-for-profit companies across the country. Along with the current nationwide toy drive for “Marine Toys for Tots,” individual offices have chosen to give back to local charities as well.
Over the past weeks, members of the Insight Global Philadelphia office held a drive for canned goods and cash donations to the local organization, Philabundance. The mission of Philabundance is to fight hunger across 9 counties in the Delaware Valley through support and donations from farms, community food drives and grocery stores. They brought their donations this weekend to the “Camp out for Hunger,” sponsored by local radio station 93.3 WMMR, which took place in Plymouth Meeting near the Insight Global office. The camp out was held to encourage the community to be involved, and the Insight Global office was excited to give back.
Colleen Shervin, Philadelphia Account Manager, expressed “we had so much fun gathering food and getting monetary donations as an office. The experience really brought us closer together as an office as we were able to help our community in a very tangible way.”
